How to take a Clip in PoolSide and SideLine Live

A new feature that was introduced in Version 2.0 of PoolSide and SideLine Live is “Clipping“.

Clipping allows you to take a clip of a specified length. These clips can be viewed on your Apple TV or transferred to the SideLine Scout Viewer app on your iPhone or iPad.

Step 1 Select the Clip Button

When recording from a Camera in the Live App, Select the Clip Icon from the Playback Controller Menu. Once the clip has finished generating a QR Code will appear to scan from your iPhone or iPad.

Step 2 Scan the QR Code

Before scanning the QR code make sure that your iPhone or iPad is on the same network as the Apple TV and has the Viewer app installed.

When you scan the QR code the clip will be opened in your SideLine Scout Viewer app*.

Step 3 View Clips on your Apple TV

You can also view the Clips on your TV by visiting the “Recordings” tab and selecting a clip to playback.
